Review: Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel
As I’ve mentioned before, I have very sensitive skin, and I’ve gotten my butt kicked before in the past by several products.
So when I received the sample of Juice Beauty’s Green Apple Peel, I briefly considered chickening out. Then I started trolling through my mental calendar to see if it might be feasible to go into hiding for a week or two if something went horribly awry.
But having used the peel a few times by now and having seen some actual results, I’ve become an advocate for several reasons.
First off, it’s made from a base of organic fruit juices, which I’m not convinced really does anything for the skin, but I’m totally behind the idea of organic products/living to promote sustainability of the environment.
Second of all, I appreciated the honest warning on the box which cautioned against a mild, tingling sensation.
Lastly, the instructions called for me to apply the peel and rinse it off after 10 minutes, meaning it doesn’t sit there eating away at my face while I sleep. Which is very good news for sensitive skin types who fret over these kinds of (very important) matters.
I used the sensitive formula, but apparently they also have a full strength version. Anyone tried that one?
