After church this morning, I headed to the mall where I must have spent an hour playing in Sephora. My face is now happily buried under layers of cosmetics (tester-mania!).

The Pout Eye Slick was the last product I tried on, sort of as an afterthought. But the more I looked at myself throughout the day, the more impressed I became with the product. The eye slick is packaged exactly like a lip gloss, but is actually a liquid eye shimmer that you apply to your lids.

I tried the Bamboo shade, which is a smoky brown shimmer. Because the product is light-reflecting, it really makes my eyes pop, just like my Tarte Rest Assured Brightening Ward does. The difference is that the Pout Eye Slick punches it up with a hint of color.

The website suggests you wear these as an eyeshadow base, but I’ll have to take the rebel route and say that I actually quite enjoy them worn solo. Either way, these should make for hours of makeup fun.
