The Miss Fix-It palette is still in stock at QVC and on Sephora's website. The palette is discontinued, so Sephora and QVC are selling their remaining stock, then once it's gone, it's gone.

I've got very sensitive skin, and I love Tarte's foundation. Unlike every other foundation I've tried, it doesn't leave my skin feeling sore and irritated after I take it off. Every other foundation I've tried has, even if I'm not allergic to it. I can wear theirs all day and my skin won't feel tender and sore after I take it off, which is a huge improvement over every other time I've worn foundation in my life (which is why I almost never used foundation - until trying foundations for my friend's wedding two weeks ago, I hadn't worn foundation since April of 2003).

Hi Melanie! I've tried their foundation once and thought it was pretty good. Gotta re-visit, though, to form my final opinion.

Okami - seems like Miss Fix-It is unavailable now? Couldn't click on the link at the Tarte website.

I forgot to mention - the Peep Show palette also comes with an eye liner - brown or black, depending on whether you get Amber or Onyx.

Thanks for the welcome! :) True Love is amazing - Flush was my favorite, but now it's True Love! And it smells all nice and watermelon-y. As an added bonus, it's just $30 ($2 more than a normal full size cheekstain) and comes with a mini Rise 'n' Shine in cherry. Their lip stain is amazing - it has a consistancy like water, but it produces such a pretty berry shade, and it's so easy to apply, and it really truly stays on. I like it much better than Urban Decay's lip stain.

I have to chime in my vote on compacts! Miss Fix-It is my fave - such pretty colors! They look bright, but they're so pretty and you can make them sheer or layer for a lot of color. The Goody Two Shoes palette is really nice, too - great for daytime and on-the-job because it's more mattes and more professional colors. And either of the Peep Show palettes are great because they're only $37 and come with 3 shadows (golden or silvery, depending on which you get) and an eye primer, and slightly shorter-handled versions of Tarte's Brush with Greatness double-ended eye shadow brush, and their double-ended eye liner brush. The handles (if I recall correctly) are about 3/4" shorter than the handles on the full-size brushes, but the heads are full size. I confess, I got my Amber Peep Show just for the brushes, but I love the shadows!

And if you like berry-ish reds, try the Bonnie & Clyde lip gloss duo - gorgeous color, especially for winter.

I second the true love cheekstain one of my favorites. The best pink color I have ever bought. It gives this beautiful pink glow definitely worth it! I think all of Tartes products are fantastic. The park avenue princess bronzer couldn't be better. I am now officially a Tarte-aholic! Couldn't be without them ever again. I use clean slate smooth operator mineral pressed powder the eraser concealer the yellow mellow and averything else that comes after!

Okami - first of all, welcome! Secondly, I've seen True Love at Sephora, and after standing there studying it for quite a while, became frightened by how pink it looked. But I'll check it out now.

So there are two votes for Jake & Samantha. That's now added to the must-try list as well.

LOVE FRxtion. Will write a post about that soon (I hope)!

Karina - what is your favorite compact? Do share! (Especially as this has somehow transformed into the Tarte fan club board. Hehe.)

Heehee... Quite a number of people have tried the cheekstains and said they tasted icky. They smell fantastic, though.

I was never one for makeup, until I started using Tarte just a few months ago, and I adore them. I have quite a bit of their makeup now, but my most common everyday look would be either True Love or Flush cheekstain, the Rest Assured brightening wand, and a lipgloss (Jake & Samantha or Kevin & Winnie, usually) to cancel out the washed out, haven't-had-enough-sleep appearance of, well, not getting anywhere near enough sleep. Or being worn out, or really stressed. It gives you more color, so you don't have people coming up to you all the time saying "You look tired."

I love their True Love cheekstain, from the Lovin' the Fast Stain set at Sephora. Jake & Samantha is awesome (probably my favorite duo right now :) ) and their lip stains are fantastic!! And FRxtion - I use that every day.

I really like that they donate to YSC - the Young Survival Coalition, for women under 40 who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

How cool! I think it's interesting that you can also use Benetint on your cheeks and lips. It seems too liquidy to hold on lips, but who knows? I will tell you that I tried using Tarte cheekstain on my lips and that does NOT work. Tastes really gross.

Benetint is the BOMB....
They make it in this little container for your lips now that has a little gloss on the other end.
