Fashion Fix
Happy Columbus Day!
Andy and I are back from our weekend. Before we headed home, I stopped at Anthropologie and picked up this jumper/sweater/shirtdress.
My wardrobe is miserably out-of-date, a fact woefully summed up by the three-year-old Nicole Miller dress I wore to the wedding yesterday. I’ve been having so much fun blogging and talking beauty that fashion has fallen to the wayside.
It’s off to Loehmann’s soon to see what I can rustle up to get me back on track. (If you don’t have a Loehmann’s, it’s basically the rich girl’s version of T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s.)
Any ideas how I can dress up this piece? I’m thinking black leggings or skinny jeans (also on my fall shopping list). A cotton long-sleeved tee underneath. Brightly-colored ballet flats. Maybe ankle boots except they intimidate me. Though how bad-ass would I be if I could actually pull off ankle boots??

LOL - I tried it with leggings last night, and it didn’t look right. 1) It made me look too skinny (I know you’re wondering if that’s possible, but it is) and 2) They were too short. At least, I think they were too short because I looked kind of dumb in them.
Back to the drawing board…
