Whenever I want to indulge in a relaxing spa experience…I take it to my local gym. I know that sounds a little weird, but keep in mind that we’re poor 20somethings living in super-rich Connecticut. So while I would love to go to the spa regularly, mama can’t afford to.

But let me also tell you that the gym I belong to has VALET parking. Does that tell you something?

SO. I carted my tub of Bliss Super Eucalyptus Smoother to the gym last week for some much needed R&R. This product is designed to be used prior to your shower in order to soften and smooth skin.

After my workout, I slathered a fistful of product all over my body (making sure my skin was dry first), and massaged it in until the product turned white. This was pretty labor intensive as the stuff is goopy and tacky and thick. Now I understand why people pay for these services.

As for the smell, it’s either love it or hate it. It smelled medicinal and pine-y. So either you could think…big, scary doctor…or happy, pretty Christmas tree!!

Either way, the product was very nice. It rinsed off cleanly in the shower and left my skin soft as promised. Not revolutionary, but still an enjoyable way to start off the day.

Especially when it’s followed by Bliss Plum Plum Soap in a Jar. Now that’s some good stuff, folks, and the fragrance just lasts and lasts on the skin all day long!
