It was only recently that I had this enlightened moment where I realized that there were many, many more shaving options available to me than just Skintimate or Gilette. It started with the Origins shave mousse. And now I have another one: Whish Pomegranate Shave Crave.
Where to begin? I could rhapsodize myself hoarse about this stuff. First, you have the beautifully simple, slightly whimsical packaging. So classy. The kind of product you can be proud to have lying around the bathroom.
This is pure decadence in a jar. I could just sit forever and dip my fingers in and out of the cream, it’s so airy and mousse-y. (Ok, I didn’t mean for that to sound as creepy as it did.)
The product provides a knick-free shave. And the scent is just amazing. It smells fruity and fresh and lasts forever on your skin even after the shave is long over.
The Shave Crave retails for $32 a jar, and would make a great Christmas gift along with their shaving brush, which is $65.
It’s not cheap, so you better love that person a lot if you’re thinking of getting her the set. But I imagine that she will be forever grateful if you did, and you will probably get lots of hugs or cookies (or both) for many years to come. And isn’t that totally worth the price?

Ooh, this is definitely going on the christmas list! And as for justifying the price, how long do you think that jar will last? Is it a decent size? Thanks!

Hi Meg! The jar is 6.7oz, and I’m guessing it might last 15 shaves? Depending on how conservative you are with it and whatnot.
I don’t shave so often (oops, TMI?), so this would last me forever!

Haha, I can usually only motivate myself to shave once a week, so it looks like this baby could last me til spring!

Phew - I’m relieved to hear that I’m not the only one who shaves so infrequently! LOL
