This weekend was indeed a beauty bonanza as indicated by the title of this post. I had the chance to stock up on some old favorites and also pick up some new products to try.

On Friday, before my husband and I headed off to a night of taco eating with friends, we made a pit stop at the mall so I could pick up another bottle of my beloved eye makeup remover: The Body Shop’s Chamomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover. Now, I’ve written about this product before, but I want to reiterate how much I love it. If you want something non-greasy, highly effective and ultra gentle, then you’ve just met the remover of your dreams.

After that, I wandered into Bath and Body Works. Ever since the store started carrying other lines like C.O. Bigelow and The Savannah Bee Company, I’ve been much more inclined to stop in and browse. Before I made it to the back of the store to C.O. Bigelow (which was my original intended destination), I was detained by the magnificent, to-die-for Warm Vanilla Sugar products. Oh my goodness, can I just say that I felt like I’d died and been carried to heaven on a big pillow of yellow layer cake? THE BEST SCENT EVA. Tres gentle, not too in-your-face, and mouth-watering.

Anyway, so I made it back to the Bigelow stuff where I carefully selected the Lemon Sugar Body Scrub. I’ve developed an unhealthy obsession with body scrubs - yes, I’m maniacally in love. They smooth your skin and moisturize. Gotta love it. I’ve been slowly but surely building my collection, and this one was added to the cache on Friday. I haven’t had a chance to try the product yet, but I’ll let you know how I fare.  For now, here is an extreme major closeup so that you can totally drool (like I did).
