Indie Spotlight: Lickadoodles
I’ve been enjoying a small little beauty brand lately called Lickadoodles. Its goal is to offer quality bath and body products at affordable prices. So what it might lack in aesthetics (i.e. pretty, expensive packaging), it makes up for in the high-end natural ingredients that end up in the product.
In particular, I’ve been loving their Tropical Body Creme in Island Dream. It’s made of shea, mango and cocoa butters so that it’s super rich and moisturizing. But what’s so wonderful about this product is that it’s also extremely light. You apply it to the skin, and it just melts right in. No greasy residue. Superb!
I’m really in love with the scent which according to their website is a floral blend of rose, violet, jasmine and orchid tempered with the sweetness of honey. But to me, it just smells really light and clean, the way rain in utopia might smell, if you could imagine that kind of purity.
