There’s Room for Bon Bons AND Cake

As you may recall, I’ve already sang the praises of Cake Beauty once before on this blog, but I want to sing them twice more in this post. I’ve discovered a couple more products from the brand that are fantastic-o.

cake beauty hair powderThe first is their Satin Sugar Hair & Body Refreshing Powder, which was created to absorb excess oil on the scalp and to help freshen hair between washes. It’s been just the product I’ve been looking for ever since I started scaling back on the amount of times I wash my hair per week. While my hair has now adjusted itself and is pretty normal on the off days when I don’t wash it, it definitely doesn’t hurt to have some help.

Cake Beauty’s Satin Sugar also helps create a bit of volume for my hair. The key ingredients are calendula, chamomile and corn starch - and the scent is like lemon cookies. Yum! You can also use the powder for your body too. A 1.7oz container retails for $18 USD.

cake beauty scrub The other Cake Beauty product that I’ve been enjoying is their Sweet Cheeks Sinfully Smoothing Brown Sugar Body Scrub. It smells exactly like cinnamon buns and is amazing.

The scrub is made from turbinado sugar, which is a large-grained sugar so it’s one of the more abrasive exfoliants - good if you want a hearty rub-down. The sugar is couched in a moisturizing base of olive oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil and cocoa butter.

After each use, my skin is incredibly smooth, soft and hydrated without a bit of greasiness. Love it love it love it. If you haven’t tried this product yet, treat yourself some day soon. You won’t regret it, folks. A huge 21oz jar retails for $28 USD.
