Benefit’s Love Your Look

Happy Thursday! I’m sure you’ve been working your little tail off this week. I don’t advocate slacking off on the job, but everyone deserves a little breather now and then. So I decided to take mine and check out what’s going on at Benefit Cosmetics.

benefit love your lookThey have a new line out called Love Your Look, and I personally love this line. The concept is a makeup line that matches your lifestyle. So you can choose from three different color families depending on your preference: light neutral, medium neutral or dark neutral.

You know me, I’m all about looking like you didn’t try. This line gives you the tools to look positively effortless. And as with the rest of Benefit’s offerings, expect fun packaging, quirky names and amazing performance.

The Love Your Look line includes Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner that is blendable, crease-proof and smudge-proof:

Silky Finish Lipstick provides sheer coverage that is buildable:

Sheer Cream Blusher is a blendable blush that dries to a powder finish for a totally natural look:

I’m impressed, and am definitely planning to check the products out further. Has anyone else tried them, and have anything to say?

The lipsticks feel amazingly silky and the colors are beautiful. However, they have very little lasting power on their own - I’ve worn glosses that lasted longer. Over one of Sephora’s new long-wearing lip liners, the lasting power was better. I was sad, but will continue to wear the two I have.

any idea which colors the model has on her lips and cheeks? they are beautiful.

Claire - that’s such a shame to hear. They look fantastic (though doesn’t anything with the help of Photoshop?).

Kamo - the model is wearing Hush! on her cheeks and Jing-a-Ling on her lips. Pretty, isn’t it?

I have Jing-a-Ling and it really is a great color. It was so funny, three of us wore it to work yesterday (I work at Sephora and we all got it in gratis) and it looked fantastic on each of us.

  5. Christina Says:

Oh you lucky lucky girl. Free tube of Jing-a-Ling? Is that the perks of working at Sephora? I need to get an application! Just curious, but does Sephora comp it, or Benefit?

    Hi Christina,
I have a couple of these products and really like them. The lipstick is very silky and goes on beautifully. The sheer cream blush is great. Not greasy and long lasting. THe shadow is cresless. I am not good at using it as a liner and still have to work on that!
