Oh my goodness, that Louboutin manicure sounds totally wild! I love it! Do you suppose a regular nail salon wouldn't be able to do this?

I'm too broke to go to a nail salon right now... I've just been enjoying the little bottle of 'ballet slippers' I picked up from Ulta.

But if I had enough money to go to a really awesome nail salon, and to get a crazy manicure, I would go for a Louboutin. I read about this, and it's awesome: it's inspired by the shoes, where the top of the nail is painted black and the underside is red.
One version I saw managed to make it look like the coolest french manicure ever; the nail was painted black except for the overhang, which just had a little white on top and then the red underneath gave it a pink tinge.

I do the pink-and-white acrylic fill on my nails, so no polish to achieve the look is necessary. However, when I need a fill and I don't want to go to the nail salon (I don't enjoy doing it, actually), I rely heavily on Essie's "Real Simple" polish to give me a beautiful classy look without a lot of effort.

I love white toe nail colors too! I use Marshmallow by Essie. I like a light coat of white on my toes, not a thick layer of it, otherwise it starts looking like you applied Wite-Out, like you said.

The best baby pink color I found is OPI Sweetheart. It's not as clear and watery as Sugar Daddy, but a little bit pinker than Mademoiselle, so the nails doesn't look so washed out.

As for toes, I love Strawberry Margarita from OPI or Fiji from Essie for a pink pastel color. But I have this weird thing for white toe nail colors. for the past 2 summers, when my feet starts to get tanned, I use Alphine white from OPI or Blanc from Essie. Yes on the entire nail, solid color. It just looks so clean and summery, but you run the risk of looking like you put Wite-Out on your toes though.

For the winter, I like Lincoln Park at Midnight from OPI for toes, it's the prettiest dark nail color, but not your usual Vampy burgendy color.

i usually do the french manicure thing traditionally on my fingers (if i don't feel like a solid color), but if i opt to put the look on my toes, i go for something a little edgier. i like to put some kind of bright color on the tips and clear at the base...maybe add a design like some flowers...of course, this is just for fun or if i need a little pick-me-up...usually i go for a solid pink or burgandy.

i love essie polishes. they have good staying power in my opinion. for some reason, so many other brands of polishes tend to chip on me.
