Britney Spears on the Cover of Allure

britney spears allure

Should I care? Probably not, seeing as the girl hasn’t done anything in the past two or three years except have babies and make a total spectacle of herself.

But it’s like watching a train wreck. I cannot avert my eyes, although every second I spend looking, my brain cells are slowly dying.

I’ve been seeing sneak previews of the infamous photo shoot from September’s Allure magazine around the celeb blog circuit.

When does my issue come in the mail though? When?? Although she bailed on the interview, I still want to see how the photo feature turned out.

And yes, as I gawk, I will be blissfully becoming stupider and stupider by the second. But do I care? Probably not.

I think that she looks like what she is…a cheap whore!!!! I use to be a HUGE fan I’m 24 years old I myself have two kids I dont go out and party, My kids are my LIFE!! If your mature enough to have sex then you should be mature enough to take care of the consquences of that and that for her was two boys.

Ugh… I totally agree. i am so bored with “starlets” and “celebutants” on the covers of magazine…just go back to using models already….geez.

You’re a crack-up! And totally correct! My problem is with Allure. Sure, I’m a fan of the mag but they airbrush the living heck out of the 40 something cover models (did ya see the Michelle Pfeiffer cover; did you read her “It’s hard to be so pretty” interview? Eeks). And then to stick this half-wit twit on the cover? I may just have to retreat to reading the single beauty column in Oprah Magazine (sigh). Least I know who the cover model is every month….

[…] I finally got my copy of Allure in the mail.  You know, the one with Britney Spears on the cover. Pictorials were disappointing. As in, there were two. All of which I’d already seen on the internet anyway. (But there are more pictures at allure.com/go/britney if you’re interested.) […]

Hi Jim, it’s rare that my male readers say hello. I didn’t even realize I had male readers, so this is exciting. Welcome!
